Stuart Florida Sailfish Bite

The Stuart Florida Sailfish Bite is ON. Last week on the Valentine things were pretty darn interesting. But then again, this is prime time for Sailfish  and things should be interesting.

We started out with a nice group of anglers for Green Bay, Wisconsin. The winds were out of the northeast at about 10 to 15 knots with 3 foot seas. In other words, almost perfect Sailfish conditions. One of the anglers was able the get his very first sail. Which is always great fun for angler and crew alike. In addition, the Valentine grabbed seven Bonita and two Kingfish.

The next group was from Huron, Michigan. They had a little bit stronger north wind and 4-6 foot seas. Again, one of the anglers was able to catch and release his first Sailfish. We also managed a couple of Kings and Bonita.

The moral of the story is that it’s cold up north and the fish are biting in Florida. So come on down and make some memories aboard the Valentine.
